On October 4-7, 2022, the International Engineering Fair took place at the exhibition center in Brno, traditionally focusing on mechanical engineering and technology. Our team from SmartVision participated in the event, showcasing our products designed for visual guidance and quality control in manufacturing.
We emphasized presenting innovative and collaborative solutions aimed at reducing error rates, repair costs, and training expenses for new operators.
The main attraction of our presentation was the Admin4.0 workplace, equipped with a video projector, camera, inspection system, tools and peripherals, pick-to-light material management, augmented reality, and a collaborative robot UR. Our software enables users to configure functional solutions without the need for programming knowledge.
Visitors had the chance to interact with our system, experiencing operations such as checking hand position and material handling using a 3D camera to eliminate operator errors. Additionally, they could explore the assisted fitting of THT parts with visual guidance and AI-assisted accuracy checks.
Our pick-to-light system in production controls the signaling of positions with material for assembly in individual steps, guiding the operator to the correct material and preventing mistakes, thereby saving the time needed for repairs.
Let’s not forget to mention the presence of a robotic workplace, which was also part of our stand at the fair. It represents the collaboration of man and machine in the form of a robotic arm that checks the correctness of the product using 3D scanning with dynamic adaptation to the product’s position.
